A Perspective Review on Thermal Conductivity of Hybrid Nanofluids and Their Application in Automobile Radiator Cooling

Hybrid nanofluids developed with the fusion or suspension of two more different nanoparticles in a mixture as novel heat transfer fluid are currently interest to researchers due their proven better measured thermal conductivities. Several reviewed articles exist on conductivity hybrid nanofluids, vital property for which rate is directly dependent. This review aims understand current developments and applications. An extensive literature survey was carried out heuristic-based published last 15 years. The reiterates topical research preparation methods ways improve stability readied fluid, thermophysical properties some empirical correlations estimating conductivity. nanofluid studies performance automobile radiator cooling systems were also obtained discussed. review’s significant findings include following: (1) produce noticeable enhancement relatively higher coefficient than mono regular liquids. Furthermore, through uniform dispersion stable host liquids, maximum possible augmentation can be at lowest concentrations (by <0.1% by volume). (2) radiator’s overall accomplishment thus boosted using conventional coolants. Up-to-date results fluids presented this study.
